Soooo excited :)

Soooo excited :)

I’ve been absolutely terrible at keeping this up. But tomorrow marks my departure from DC. I have spent so many wonderful days here and met so many amazing people I will never forget! I never thought I could love anywhere that was outside of California. But now I know I can and I do. I’ll have to upload pictures once I get them all on my computer.

DC has been the most amazing experience of my life

my heart is in a lot of pain..i will never forget the memories and the love. such a beautiful thing…time brings change..change that we may have never seen coming.. and the great circle of living continues..we must always overcome and rise from our ashes to be born anew..or succumb to ourselves. no matter what we do we will all be together as one beautiful vibrant energy..heres to those who have made the journey, and heres to those who have yet to make it. Love is a strange and beautifully tragic wonderful thing. although it hurts deeply i am thankful for the love that i was able to share. always ♥

Its been awhile

Sorry I haven’t been updating! Life has gotten a bit hectic and there’s always so much to do. on the otherrrr hand, I also haven’t been updating because I’ve been having major troubles with my camera and uploading my pictures. They all seem to come in black and i called apple tonight hoping that would solve the problem, but it didn’t. So an apple trip on Friday and hopefully I can finally give you guys some pictures from my trip to NY, my birthday and just everyday around dc!

Past few days..

It has been a couple of days since I posted, sorry about that! As everyone probably participated, Sunday was the Superbowl and then last night our dorms didn’t have any internet connection.

The past few days have been pretty clam, nothing too much. Sunday I did Volunteer at DC Central Kitchen which preps food for distribution as well as hosts a culinary program helping people who need to get their lives back in order. It was definitely one of the best times and felt so great to give back to the DC community. You can check out more about them here http://www.dccentralkitchen.org/ We peeled and diced sweet potatoes for 3 hours but I definitely would like to go back sometime before I leave.

Then later for the Superbowl we went to a local bar, but it definitely wasn’t as busy as I was expecting. But lucky for me I was rooting for the Giants, so I won a couple of bets - nothing too big, mostly wine/beer bets.

Yesterday and I guess today for that matter have been pretty uneventful, mainly consisting of school and work. Yesterday thought my boss did buy me dinner so that was really nice considering I still haven’t gone to the market and have no money!

Hopefully I can update you with something interesting soon!

Until then

Hello from rainy DC!

Today my roommates and I got to take a tour of The White House! That place is seriously so spectacular and beautiful. Of course no cameras were allowed inside and they were strict. But i can tell you, The Green Room, The Red Room, The State Dining Room, The Blue Room and everything else is impecable. Too bad President Obama didn’t accidentally crash our tour, now that would have been amazing!

After the tour I went back to the Newseum with one of my roommates because we got 1 more day free so it was great seeing everything I didn’t yesterday.

As for tonight, it’s now raining andI bought some beer on the way home and have planted myself infront of the TV to watch some college basketball. I still really want to go to a Georgetown game while I’m out here! That would seriously be so much fun!

Tomorrow some of us are going to volunteer at the DC Central Kitchen and then of course find a bar to head off to to watch the superbowl!

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Until tomorrow
